Hi everybody and thanks for taking some time to check out my website.

Skiing and sports have always been the main focus in my life since a very young age growing up in Aviemore. Within my family we have alot of history in winter sports with grandparents and parents on both sides being involed with skiing and ice hockey over the years so it was a very natural path for me to follow my brother (Alain) and cousin (Lesley) onto the Britsh ski team in 1998. The only other sport I seriously considered was ice hockey, but skiing seemed to take over in my mid teens and I had a good advantage training alongside Alain who is 8 years older.

When I'm not on the hills skiing or in the gym normally I can be found doing most likely 1 of the following, biking, ice hockey, golf, tennis, football or the occasional game of shinty when I'm feeling brave!!!

Nowadays I also spend alot of time in Argentina with my daughter Maria Guadalupe, its great for skiing down there but not much time for golf with the opposite seasons. She also has a bit of a sporting pedigree on both sides with her mother Macarena Simari Birkner also being a ski racer !!!
